MLM Prospecting and Non-Answering Suspects
Someone was inquiring about what do you do when someone isn’t addressing your phone, or your calls? You’re following up with them, they’re not returning your call, they’re not taking your call. What do you do?
I have a 3 action voice mail system that I teach, and I train. I’ve been teaching this for many years. I believe I initially taught this in 2010 perhaps. It’s a 3 action voice mail system. First of all, you must have verified a time where you’re going to talk to them. When you’re setting that up, you say, “Hey, I’m real hectic right now, however 1:15 pm tomorrow, I can provide you a call. Will you be by your phone? Perfect.”
You set it before the call. That is important, since exactly what would a professional do? An expert would be hectic. A professional would have a calendar. A professional would set that time, because you are busy. You call at 1:15, when it goes to voice mail, which a lot of times it will, you state, “Hey there, this is XXX, we had a set call at 1:15. Offer me a call at your earliest convenience.” You’re not being suggest on this first call. You’re not being impolite. You’re not being direct. You’re not pounding them. You’re simply saying, “Hey, we had actually a set call. Give me a call at your earliest convenience.”
